After a snack-sized teaser earlier in the week, Magic Spoon has gone ahead and launched the miniature version of its Rice Krispies Treat-style protein bar, Magic Spoon Protein Treats. The smaller pocket-sized edition is called Mini Protein Treats, which we suspected to be about a third the size of the original. The product has turned out to be in between a third and half the size, tipping the scales at 18g per piece, down from 40g.
Magic Spoon Mini Protein Treats have an appropriately scaled amount of nutrition at 5 to 6g of protein, depending on the flavor, of which there are two, both from the menu of the full-size protein bar in Marshmallow and Chocolate Peanut Butter. The rest of the macros break down to 7 to 8g of carbohydrates with 3g of that fiber and none of that sugar, between 2 and 3g of fat, and a very low calorie count, as you’d expect of 60.
One of the first places you can get your hands on the smaller Magic Spoon Mini Protein Treats is the brand’s official online store. There is a bundle that has a total of four boxes, eight miniature protein bars in each, for 32 altogether, and the price for it all is $39.
