ESN takes an RXBar-style approach in its all-new real-food Goat Bar

Esn Goat Bar

German giant ESN is home to one of the best-tasting protein bars in the world with the Designer Protein Bar, although that’s not its only entry in the delicious category. The powerhouse company also has the plant-based Designer Vegan Protein Bar and the wholesome Designer Oatbar. Launching next week from ESN is another bar-format functional innovation, which focuses on a very different approach in the Protein Goat Bar.

The upcoming ESN Goat Bar is very similar to the hit RXBar in that it keeps the list of ingredients extremely simple and exclusively real food components. Right on the front of the wrapper, it lists off that it’s made with 7 almonds, 3 egg whites, 2 cashews, a date, berries, and honey. The resulting nutrition profile is led by 14g of complete protein, 21g of carbohydrates, minimal sugar, moderate fat, and a calorie count of 204.

Again, the Goat Bar is much the same as the RXBar, with significantly better nutrition in that 14g of protein and around 200 calories. We imagine the concept can be easily expanded upon with more flavors, although to start, it’ll have just one in Berries, hence berries on the ingredient list. The newest functional innovation from ESN will be out on Wednesday of next week, and as always, available first through esn.com.
