Jhamal finally releases its vegan protein cookies after a year of development

Jhamal Gruvi Protein Cookies

After an extensive year of development, the creative Brazilian health and nutrition company Jhamal, which has some incredibly eye-catching branding, has released impressively high-protein, vegan-friendly cookies. While it may look like it from the outside, this is not a bulk bag of protein cookies; it’s actually a baking mix, involving an amount of time and some level of effort to turn into tasty, edible treats.

Jhamal proudly promotes its all-new, long-awaited innovation, Gruvi Protein Cookies, as being ready to eat and enjoy in as little as 15 minutes. That isn’t a huge amount of time, but an investment nonetheless, compared to tearing open the bag and throwing down cookies that are ready-to-eat. In 100g of completed cookies, made from a serving of powder, the macros aren’t too bad at 25g of protein from pea isolate and rice protein, a respectable 14g of carbohydrates, only a gram of sugar, and 255 calories.

The numbers on a serving of the rich and crumbly Gruvi Protein Cookies are in line with those of a traditional protein bar at 25g of protein and 255 calories, although again, they do take some preparation. They are plant-based, setting them apart from most other better-for-you cookies, and you can grab a bulk bag of a moderate nine servings of the product from Jhamal’s website at R$69 (12.68 USD).
