Gaming energy drink PXL gets into supplements with a high-powered pre-workout

Pxl Limit Break Pre Workout

After making its debut in the energy drink space, the Swedish gaming-themed brand PXL is expanding into supplements, specifically sports nutrition. It has started with three products, all themed around workout and performance, including the pre-workout Limit Break. While PXL is first and foremost an energy drink brand, it has quickly proven it knows what it’s doing in supplements with its robust pre-workout formula.

PXL’s Limit Break is built to deliver energy, focus, pumps, and performance, all of the core benefits of this sort of supplement. On the performance and pump side of things, there is the ever-present beta-alanine at 4g per serving, 3g of citrulline malate, 1.5g of classic arginine AKG, still very popular in Europe, and 1.5g of glycine. There is also a dash of carbohydrates at just 2.5g from a strategic blend of isomaltulose, maltodextrin, and Vitargo, but again, at a small 2.5g.

Pxl Energy Supplements

The Limit Break pre-workout from PXL pairs all of the above with plenty of energy and focus support from 1.5g of tyrosine, 125mg of the hard-hitting juglans regia, a light 50mg of citicoline, and 200mg of the nootropic mushroom, lion’s mane. Caffeine is at play, of course, adding to the intensity of juglans with 250mg of traditional caffeine anhydrous and an almost equal 150mg of theanine for smooth, uplifting energy.

There is also collagen in Limit Break at a gram per serving, which, similar to the 2.5g of carbohydrates, is a surprising inclusion, at least surprising to see highlighted, but outside of those two, PXL has pieced together quite a well-rounded formula. You can snatch it up directly from the brand’s online store at 429kr (44.70 USD) for a tub of about 16 servings in just one lone flavor to start, with the refreshing fruit-based, Exotic Fruit.
