PXL has built its name in the gaming and energy drink space, known for strong branding and marketing, and gaming-themed flavors. The Swedish brand has now expanded into sports nutrition with a bunch of workout supplements, including Regenerate. This one is an advanced post-workout designed to deliver everything the body needs after an intense workout for better recovery with a whole host of reliable ingredients.
The formula in PXL Regenerate starts with a 25g carbohydrate blend of maltodextrin, dextrose, and isomaltulose to replenish glycogen, alongside 7g muscle-supportive amino acids in glycine, lysine, and alanine. That’s not where the aminos end either; seven of the other essential amino acids are in there, too, at a combined 4g, 3g of that being the all-important BCAAs, with just one EAA missing from the list in tryptophan.
Further completing PXL’s post-workout, Regenerate has a daily dosage of classic creatine monohydrate at 3g for muscle strength, performance, and power, 2g of glutamine, 3g of taurine for hydration, and half a gram of acetyl-l-carnitine for energy and metabolism. Lastly, there are some B vitamins, a solid half a gram of the powerhouse antioxidant vitamin C, and a moderate amount of electrolytes, combining for 380mg.
PXL Regenerate is essentially a classic intra-workout combination of EAAs and electrolytes supporting muscle recovery and hydration. The supplement becomes a post-workout with the added carbohydrates and creatine, two things that are perfectly suited for after an intense workout. Regenerate goes nicely alongside Limit Break, the brand’s pre-workout, and it is the exact same price at 429kr for a tub of 15 servings.
