IronMaxx expands its Proteccino concept into Iced Matcha Latte

Ironmaxx Iced Matcha Latte

IronMaxx in Germany already dabbled in the protein coffee department by way of Proteccino, which is a blend of whey concentrate, coffee extract, and milk powder for a protein shake that tastes like and can be served like coffee. The original Proteccino features a classic cappuccino-type taste with 21g of protein per serving, under 2g of fat, 3.2g of carbohydrates, and 114 calories, and thanks to the coffee, there is a splash of caffeine at 80mg.

Proteccino has now been expanded upon this month by IronMaxx with a separate but like-minded product in Iced Matcha Latte. It is pretty much the same concept, although, as per the name, it is shooting for a matcha latte flavor profile. It combines whey concentrate, matcha green tea, and cream powder, for 18g of protein, 2.4g of carbohydrates, 4.8g of fat, and 113 calories, alongside a sweet and genuine matcha green tea experience.

IronMaxx’s Iced Matcha Latte is slightly cheaper than Proteccino at €26.90; however, the total amount of protein per serving is lower, and the overall volume is lighter by 20%, so you are sacrificing value for that matcha latte protein shake.
