Real Good brings its lightly-breaded high-protein twist to popcorn chicken

Real Good Foods Popcorn Chicken

We recently shared Real Good Foods’ all-new innovation, Chicken Meatballs, which is a combination of chicken breast, parmesan, and whey protein for some deliciously clean meatballs that have 20g of protein per serving and 2g of carbohydrates. There are four varieties of the product, and it keeps with the innovative brand’s promise and mission of not using industrial seed oils in any of its protein-packed foods.

We’ve got another creative new functional food to share from Real Good Foods that sees it using quality chicken breast once more in a familiar and snack-like format with Popcorn Chicken. Similar to the brand’s lightly breaded chicken nuggets, the popcorn-shaped product in rolled in chickpea flour and whey protein. The result is Popcorn Chicken with 20g of protein in nine pieces, 4g of net carbohydrates, and 210 calories.

Real Good Foods has built its name around filling familiar food formats with protein and radically lowering the carbohydrates, and we get precisely that once again in Real Good Popcorn Chicken. It is hitting the market this month in a large bag of 20oz, which works out to about six servings of nine popcorn chicken pieces, so a grand total of 54, and it is launching exclusively at the major supermarket HEB.
