Crazy Candy is coming out with a higher protein cookie with 20g in a hefty 113g treat

Crazy Protein Cookie

Crazy Candy is not a health and nutrition company, not by any stretch, as it’s known for its deliciously sweet freeze-dried candy in more flavors than you could ask for. Many of those options are made to resemble iconic candies like Sour Buddies and Red Fishies. It also makes the Crazy Cookie, where it doesn’t hold back on the numbers for a decadent taste and texture with 7g of protein, 57g of carbohydrates, 20g of that sugar, and 520 calories.

Very soon, Crazy Candy is moving into the health and nutrition space, or at least it’s attempting to with the introduction of its Crazy Protein Cookie. It will indeed be a cookie that is much higher in protein, packing the traditional 20g, although we’re not sure how the other numbers are going to play out. While the product isn’t as heavy as the original Crazy Cookie, it’s still sizeable at 113g, which doesn’t get our hopes up for the complete nutrition profile.

Being a mainstream candy maker known for delicious freeze-dried candy and cookies, it will still very likely have a high standard of taste and texture, and with 20g of protein in a 113g piece, we don’t imagine the Crazy Protein Cookie keeps the carbohydrates, sugar, and calories to a minimum. It will likely be along the same lines as the Crazy Cookie with a bit more than double the protein, and it’s coming in Chocolate Brownie and Snickerdoodle flavors.
