The energy drink category has absolutely exploded over the last few years, something fans of those beverages will already be extremely aware of. The most interesting part about all of that has been that many of the new entrants have come from sports nutrition companies; supplement makers. From Cellucor and C4 to Ghost, Redcon1, and RYSE, now it’s the Brazilian powerhouse Dragon Pharma that is throwing its hat in the ring.
Dragon Fuel is the energy drink from Dragon Pharma, although it’s a little uncertain as to whether or not this is a temporary thing or a product that’ll be rolled out to retailers and distributors. The only reason we’re not sure of its future is that it was put together and debuted at the brand’s 10th anniversary celebration. The weekend-long Dragon Bash kicked off yesterday and is taking place in Miami, with Dragon Fuel being handed out.
The Dragon Fuel energy drink itself has the ten-year milestone highlighted on its packaging, suggesting this may indeed be just for the Dragon Bash. Alternatively, it could be a test run for Dragon Pharma, with plans to launch the beverage later with tweaks. Either way, Dragon Fuel is a thing; it is an energy drink in a slim 12oz can and has three flavors in Twisted Tropical Citrus, Strawberry Peach Smash, and Sour Dragon Gummy.
