Mainstream energy drink Joluca is about to do just that, celebrating the approaching season of giving by releasing a limited edition Pepparkaka flavor of its signature sugarless energy drink in Sweden.
If Pepparkaka doesn’t sound familiar, its translation will, as it’s Swedish for the festive treat almost everyone knows in Gingerbread. The intriguing Gingerbread Joluca energy drink aims to provide that classic, warm, subtly spiced taste of Gingerbread in a carbonated beverage. It has zero sugar, about seven calories a can, and Sweden’s typical 180mg of caffeine, with the rollout of Joluca’s seasonal Gingerbread going down very soon.
