Legendary Foods brings its high protein and low net carb approach to mac & cheese

Legendary Foods Protein Mac And Cheese

Legendary Foods has done it again, putting a boatload of protein into a format you don’t typically find a lot of protein, and it’s managed to keep the carbohydrates to an impressive minimum. Following on from its original Protein Pastry, top-rated Popped Protein Chips, and Protein Sweet Roll comes Protein Mac & Cheese. The product is a convenient single-serving pot of the traditional pasta dish, but with more protein than any of its other functional foods.

Protein Mac & Cheese from Legendary Foods provides an eye-watering 47g of protein, almost matching two scoops of whey protein powder. The brand relies on milk, casein, whey isolate, and egg white to get the protein that high, and it’s not alongside a huge amount of anything else. The net carbohydrates are nice and low, as we’ve come to expect from a Legendary product, sitting at 7g per pot, mixed in with a deliciously cream mac and cheese experience.

Whenever Legendary Foods comes out with something completely new, it’s in a format that we haven’t seen that amount of protein or few net carbohydrates in, and that remains true in the impressive and undoubtedly tasty Protein Mac & Cheese. The huge 47g of protein is plenty to make this stand out, let alone the low carb count, and you can pre-order a pack of six at $34.49, although it is a long pre-order, with shipping expected in March of next year.
