Lyft spices up its Cafe menu with a seasonal Yuzu Ginger smoothie built around its EAA

Lyft Nutrition in Japan is one of the anomalies in the health and nutrition industry that spreads as far as it does, where it has a full-on clothing line, gyms, cafes, and quality supplements. Some other brands out there that get as extensive as that would be CPT in China, Nutrend in the Czech Republic, the German giant ESN, and the international beast Myprotein. We’ve got Lyft in headlines today as it has added a fresh new entry to its cafe menu specifically for fall.

If you’re in Japan and happen to walk by or be near Lyft Cafes in Osaka, Nagoya, and the three it has in the giant city of Tokyo, you can grab yourself a Yuzu Ginger Smoothie. The health and nutrition powerhouse has made this more functional than its nutrition, which breaks down to 11g of complete protein, a sizeable 37g of carbohydrates, 2g of fat, and 218 calories, made with actual fruits in orange, grapefruit, apple, lemon, yogurt, honey, and yuzu puree.

Where the Lyft Cafe innovation spices things up is that at the heart of the product is Lyft Nutrition’s own Ginger Honey flavor of its EAA supplement, bringing flavor and a blend of essential amino acids for muscle recovery and repair. The menu item is available for a limited time, and at those many Lyft Cafes across Japan, you can grab yourself one at ¥990 (6.49 USD).
