If news of another entry in Monster’s zero-sugar Ultra Series wasn’t exciting enough in Punk Punch, coming early next year after next month’s Wild Passion, we’ve got yet another to share. While the energy drink company isn’t sampling this one at NACS this year, it was on display and is due to land after Punk Punch. The brand is going full-on patriotic on this one with a Monster Ultra Red White & Blue Razz energy drink.
Monster has mixed up the design of flavors in the Ultra Series on many occasions; one of the most memorable was Ultra Fantasy Ruby Red with its three-color stripe backing and crafty illustrations. It’s gone and outdone itself in Ultra Red White & Blue Razz, covering it in the Stars and Stripes, and in Ultra’s signature artwork down the sides, you get fireworks popping off, Uncle Sam, an eagle, The Liberty Bell, and more.
The reason behind the patriotic theme of Monster Ultra Red White & Blue Razz is that the energy drink giant has built this from the ground up to honor those who defend this great country, past or present. As for the flavor, we’re taking the title at face value and assuming it’s a traditional blue raspberry. Energy drink fans can look forward to Ultra Red White & Blue Razz landing next year, but as mentioned, Punk Punch is up first.
