Nexus recreates the iconic Bomb Pop as a flavor of its sparkling collagen protein drink

Nexus Super Icy Pop Sparkling Protein Water

Bomb Pop-inspired flavors are incredibly common here in the US, and it makes sense with the nostalgia of the iconic popsicle. They tend to be named similarly to the treat itself or something bold and patriotic, and every now and then, you will see the experience replicated on the international scene. To close out the week, we have precisely that from the always entertaining Australian brand Nexus in the newest flavor of its clear protein drink.

Now available down under is a Super Icy-Pop Nexus Protein Sparkling Water, putting that classic blue raspberry, lime, and cherry taste combination into a fizzy ready-to-drink protein product. Like many other clear proteins in Australia, the beverage from Nexus relies on collagen for its protein, not the complete and quality whey isolate. That does mean the new Super Icy-Pop has an impressively lean nutrition profile with 16g of protein, just a gram of carbohydrates, no fat or sugar, and an almost protein-only calorie count of 69 per can.
