EHP Labs has played around in the business of protein bars on a couple of occasions previously, not under its typical branding or names, but high-protein bars nonetheless, with the Lust Natural Protein Bar and Blessed Plant Protein Bar. Starting on the first day of next month, the Australian brand is getting back into that game with something more in line with the rest of its line, introducing the OxyShred Lean Protein Bar.
The upcoming OxyShred Lean Protein Bar has an impressive nutrition profile led by 19g of protein from quality sources like milk and whey concentrate, as well as crispy soy-based pieces. Alongside the muscle-building macronutrient is 6g of fat, a low 3.2g of carbohydrates, the majority of that sugar, 7g of fiber, and 160 calories. Those numbers are based on the Cookies & Cream, with slight variations in the other three.
EHP Labs’ other flavors of the OxyShred Lean Protein Bar are White Chocolate Caramel, another caramel-infused experience in Chocolate Peanut Caramel, and a sweet, fruit-themed Strawberries & Cream. The brand looks to have packed this one with a traditional build where you get a smooth, creamy filling atop a doughy base and wrapped in a hard outer. The protein snack is making its debut in the pharmacy chain, Chemist Warehouse on December 1st, then making its way into convenience stores and supermarkets a month later.
