Kanzen Meal is a meal brand from Nissin Foods, the same company responsible for iconic instant noodles like Cup Noodles and Top Ramen. It’s built to bring nutritionally balanced frozen meals to consumers who want convenience without sacrificing nutrition, especially protein. It debuted with Fettuccine Alfredo, Spaghetti Bolognese, and Shrimp Teriyaki, all offering up to 24g of protein, a good amount of fiber, essential vitamins, and minerals.
This month, Kanzen Meal has added another two flavors to its menu, bringing the collection to a total of five. The new dishes are Spicy Dan Dan Noodles and Spaghetti Carbonara, each continuing the theme of comfort meets nutrition. The former blends nutritious rice noodles in a rich, spicy sesame sauce with edamame and green onions, while the latter features tender spaghetti, creamy carbonara sauce, and crisp broccoli with bacon pieces.
The nutrition profiles of Nissin Foods and Kanzen Meal’s new Spicy Dan Dan Noodles and Spaghetti Carbonara include 21g of quality protein in the latter and 24g in the former; neither has any added sugar, 10g of fiber, and 27 vitamins and minerals. The brand now has more to offer those seeking nutrient-dense, ready-to-eat meals, and its expansion reinforces the proteinfication trend, where protein continues to move into every grocery aisle.
