Grenade keeps the protein-to-calorie ratio very similar for its Soft Core Protein Bar

Nutrition Of Cadbury Creme Egg Grenade Protein Bar

The all-new Soft Core Protein Bar is the latest Grenade protein snacking innovation, and it’s actually the first completely new protein bar we’ve seen from the creative company since its original oat-based Reload Protein Flapjack. The product features a dense and doughy main body and a soft, creamy filling down the center. It is launching soon in only one flavor, and it is a mouthwatering taste at that, in an authentic collaboration with Cadbury Creme Egg.

Not only is the soon-to-be-released Soft Core Protein Bar notably different from the regular Grenade Protein Bar in taste and texture, it also differs in nutrition. The product itself is smaller, tipping the scales at 45g rather than 60g, and in turn, the protein is scaled down to 14g a piece instead of 20 to 22g. The carbohydrates in the delicious Cadbury Creme Egg-like protein treat come in at 15g, about a gram of that sugar, 8.2g of fat, and a calorie count of 172.

For how delicious the Cadbury Creme Egg Soft Core Protein Bar looks, the protein-to-calorie ratio is not far off the flagship Grenade Protein Bar. Basically, you get a calorie or two more for every gram of protein versus the legendary original. Again, that’s not a huge difference, and looking at the build of the innovation and knowing Grenade for as long as we have, the taste and texture will be more than worth the marginal difference in calories.
