Barebells recently followed up its European release with another special edition advent calendar, this time made specifically for us in the US. That kind of seasonal launch is a rarity for functional food companies in North America, but Barebells did just that, and as expected, it didn’t last long. The limited item went live only a few days ago and has already sold out, now, another functional innovator, SmartSweets, has rolled out its festive creation, and you’ll want to move quickly.
The SmartSweets Candy Workshop advent calendar returns this year with 12 full-size 50g bags of the brand’s signature better-for-you candy. It’s themed around “12 Days of Sweet Surprises”, giving you a different treat each day in the 12 days leading up to Christmas. While most of the products inside the festive innovation will be familiar, we imagine the brand has hidden some rarities in there, and fingers crossed for some completely new, exclusive, low-sugar candy treats.
SmartSweets made its extremely limited advent calendar live within the last couple of hours, and we’ve already gone in and snatched one up for ourselves. Similar to Barebells’ Christmas calendar, don’t expect this one to last very long, and at $39.50, it is very reasonable for 12 bags of the brand’s flagship low-sugar candy with shipping taking place in about ten days.
