Bro Science Life still squeezes in 14g of protein into its gooey-center candy

Bro Science Life Gym Candy Bursts

Bro Science Life recently previewed an extremely intriguing innovation and expansion from its original high-protein candy, and now it is taking pre-orders on the delicious-looking functional food. The official name of the product is Gym Candy Bursts, which is precisely what separates it from the regular Gym Candy. Instead of being a full gummy candy from top to bottom, in the middle is a sweet, flavorful filling that bursts out as you bite into it.

We knew all about the approach Bro Science Life was taking in Gym Candy Bursts as soon as it was announced; the part we were curious about was at what cost. We thought surely the brand couldn’t deliver the same nutrition profile with a gooey center, and there is something to that. The all-new Bursts protein candy has 14g of protein per bag entirely from marine collagen, 17g of carbohydrates, 14g of that added sugar, and 120 calories.

Gym Candy Bursts has 4g less protein for the same size bag as the original Gym Candy, a lot more sugar, going from zero to 14g, and 20% more calories, so there is some separation, but to be honest, it’s not as big as we expected. You can head over to gaingummies.com to pre-order the deliciously bursting protein gummy candy at $27.99 for a pack of five in the one Tangerine flavor, although do note shipping isn’t happening for another two months.
