Applied Nutrition puts a whole host of higher protein foods into Morrisons supermarkets

Applied Nutrition Meals At Morrisons

In the United Kingdom and Europe, some of the giant names in the health and nutrition space, like XXL Nutrition, Vilgain, and Myprotein, have gone beyond traditional supplements and functional snacks and into actual prepared meals and foods. Applied Nutrition is joining that race to start the New Year, and it’s not taking things lightly, getting together with the supermarket giant Morrisons for more than 50 different high-protein foods.

Applied Nutrition hasn’t just crafted a few dishes here and there; it has gone deep into functional grocery items like higher-protein cheese in mini snack packs, slices, and grated. The brand has also done smoothie mixes, satay chicken skewers, powered-up pizzas, and ice cream. All of those products have notably more protein than your traditional options, including 34g of protein to 537 calories in Applied’s rectangular Meat Feast Pizza.

Making up the bulk of the new selection at Morrisons supermarkets are ready-to-eat meals, like Chiken Tikka, Chicken Shawarma, Piri Chicken with Rice, Butter Chicken, and Meat Feast Pasta. Again, like those other items, these are all nutritionally friendly and loaded with protein. A great example of the macros would be in the Korean Style BBQ Chicken with 53g of muscle building protein 45g of carbohydrates, and 474 calories.

Usually when brands enter a space like this with the size of the partner Applied Nutrition has, it’s usually with a small selection of products to see how things go and expand from there. Being the powerhouse that it is, Applied is wasting no time, again, hitting Morrisons with over 50 different offerings, and it’s quite the variety. Everything is going live in Morrisons this week, so next time you’re in one of its locations, be on the lookout.
