Breakfast powerhouse Kodiak takes on the overnight oats market with added protein

Kodiak Protein Packed Overnight Oats

Kodiak is one of the most well-known, mainstream functional food companies in North America, and it has held that position and presence for quite some time. From its original protein pancake mix to protein waffles, protein oatmeal, and even its own syrup, the brand built on what made it and never looked back. The already extensive Kodiak catalog has added another breakfast solution this month that puts it right in line with the likes of Mush and ONO.

Protein-Packed Overnight Oats is the latest innovation out of Kodiak, a single-serving pouch product that you pour into a resealable container or cup, combine with some sort of milk or water if you want, and leave in the refrigerator overnight. You can then pull it out in the morning and enjoy a flavorful, mushy, wholesome breakfast made with nutritious rolled oats, pea and milk concentrate for the protein, quinoa, brown sugar, pecans, and chia seeds.

The macros on Kodiak’s Protein-Packed Overnight Oats are not bad, giving you that traditional 20g of protein to 36g of carbohydrates with 9g of that sugar and 5g fiber, 6g of fat, and a calorie count of 280. There is room to double, as the carbs aren’t too out of balance, but as mentioned, it does come in single-serving packets in a Maple Pecan flavor, and at $3.42 each, the price will get up there if you start doubling for 40g of protein and 560 calories.
