Ahead layers strawberry atop creamy vanilla in its low-sugar Valentine’s edition gummies

Ahead Nutrition Sweet Hearts

Among the many different functional foods and protein treats available from the colorful company Ahead Nutrition in Germany are low-sugar gummy candies, similar to what the likes of SmartSweets and Pandy offer. The brand has the product in all sorts of shapes, like the classic gummy bears, apples, cola bottles, cherries, and peaches, and for the holidays, it released snowmen and Christmas trees, all with minimal sugar and low in calories.

For Valentine’s Day, Ahead Nutrition has launched Sweet Hearts low-sugar gummies. It’s a small 50g bag of layered, heart-shaped pieces with a white base and red top for a taste combination of sweet strawberry and smooth vanilla. The macros are similar to the German brand’s other gummies, with 2.9g of carbohydrates, less than a gram of that sugar, 4g of protein, and 77 calories, and you can grab it direct at €1.53 (1.82 USD) each for a box of 18.
