Russia’s Bombbar has made headlines a couple of times this week with the functional Pro Milk and delicious-looking Mad Fit Protein Brownie. As is usually the case with the three-time Functional Brand Of The Year, it has rolled out a lot of new products at once, and in addition to those is another one under its Snaq Fabriq banner. That is the line where Bombbar tends to put more focus on better-for-you foods that are low in sugar and calories, rather than packed with protein.
Bombbar’s newest Snaq Fabriq product is Snaqy, and from the look and feel of it all, it appears to be designed specifically for the next generation. It is a bag of corn-based crunchy balls covered in delicious chocolate, which does indeed sound like a sugar-loaded treat. As tasty as the product sounds, it does its best to be good on the nutrition side with 6g of carbohydrates per serving, none of it added sugar, 10g of fat, 5g of protein, and a very reasonable 139 calories.
Bombbar makes better-for-you treats, protein snacks, and versatile beverages for many different audiences under its own line, Chikalab, Snaq Fabriq, and more recent Mad Fit brands. Snaqy is the first we’ve seen from the brand that is marketed to kids and is a better-for-you food. It’s a new direction for the Russian brand that could lead to other snacks for specialized audiences, and if you want to try this one, it’s ₽1,080 (14.05 USD) for a box of 12 at bombbar.ru.
