Muscle Nation crafts a cheesecake with Choclt that has 20g of protein and just 250 calories

Muscle Nation Protein Cheesecake

The ever-expanding Muscle Nation in Australia, which started out in clothing and then eventually moved into sports nutrition supplements, has just introduced another product under its functional food division with Protein Cheesecake. This is not to be confused with the brand’s previously released Cheesecake Protein Bar and Protein Peanut Butter Cup, put together in partnership with Choclt, it is an actual cheesecake, packed full of protein.

For Protein Cheesecake, Muscle Nation has once again got together with Nicholas Vavitis and his company Choclt, and it looks just as delicious as the pair’s other innovations. The product comes in a packet of two sizeable 125g round cheesecakes, made primarily with yogurt, cheese, and tasty biscuit crumb. The nutrition profile starts with a solid 20g of protein per cake, 10g of fat, 17 to 19g of carbohydrates, around 10g of that sugar, and 251 to 256 calories.

At 20g of protein to between 250 and 260 calories, the protein-to-calorie ratio is on par or better than many of the nut butter-based protein snacks out there, like Outright and Anabar. The big question is how good does it tastes, although we are talking about Muscle Nation here, and it does a pretty good job in all of its foods. Protein Cheesecake is available now at Coles supermarkets in Caramel and Raspberry flavors at a fair $13 (9.19 USD) for two.
