Like many health and nutrition companies across Europe, the incredibly extensive Vilgain has a presence not just in functional foods, but specifically the hugely competitive world of protein bars. One of its major entries in that department is the Double Trouble Protein Bar, featuring a smooth and doughy base topped with a gooey layer and covered in a flavorful coating. There were already plenty of tastes to choose from for the product, and this week it’s landed another option.
Joining the likes of Choco Bueno, Blueberry Cheesecake, Peanut Butter and Raspberry, and many other dessert-like flavors for the Vilgain protein snack is a simpler Pistachio Double Trouble Protein Bar. It is pistachio through and through, from the doughy base to the gooey filling and pistachio-covered top. It has all of the same macros as the others, including 17g of protein, 8g of sugar, and 226 calories, and it’s available direct starting at 65 Kč (3.10 USD) a bar.
