The Skinny Food Co is another functional food company in Europe that celebrates Easter with a special edition product, and for the last couple of years, that product has been the High Protein Chocaholic Easter Egg. It is a giant 150g solid chocolate egg that has plenty of protein to justify the “High Protein” callout in its name, packing a mass gainer-like 50g but not without a sizeable 52g of fat, leading to a calorie count of 710.
Over the weekend, The Skinny Food Co brought back its High Protein Chocaholic Easter Egg in all of its original, long-running glory, although it either had very few units available or demand was just ridiculously high. What happened was in the day the brand made the protein-packed, solid chocolate Easter egg live on its website at a price of just £9.99 (13.24 USD), it completely sold out with no mention yet or any sort of restock.
Like all occasions before it, The Skinny Food Co did say its High Protein Chocaholic Easter Egg would only be available for a limited time, however this was definitely the fastest we’d seen it sell out. While you can keep an eye on the brand’s social platforms for word of a restock, there is a good chance that’s it, and it won’t be back until next year.
