Australia’s BSc releases a more compact and slightly leaner protein RTD

Bsc High Protein Shake

Australian legacy brand BSc isn’t new to the ready-to-drink market; it has been in that space and format for some time; in fact, it was a little more than four years ago that it revamped its competitor with the BSc Protein Shake. That’s a 450ml product providing a total of 30g of muscle-building protein from complete and quality sources, while staying nice and lean in other areas with 8g of carbohydrates, over 6g of that sugar, 3g of fat, and 184 calories.

BSc has now introduced the High Protein Shake, which is separate from the plastic-bottled Protein Shake in a few crucial ways. The latest innovation from the brand still uses whey and casein to provide its protein, and the muscle-building macronutrient is still at a substantial 30g. Where the BSc High Protein Shake takes a turn and separates itself is that it comes in a carton, not a bottle, and it’s about 33% smaller in volume, squeezing down to 300ml.

The other macros are slightly lighter than the previously released Protein Shake at less than 8g of carbohydrates, a bit more than a gram of fat, and 174 calories for the Chocolate flavor. There are two other tastes available for the new BSc High Protein Shake, and they are just as common as Chocolate in Vanilla and Strawberry. You can find the mildly leaner and more compact new protein beverage in retailers, including the grocery chain Woolworths, which sells packs of three of the product in a single flavor at a competitive $11 (7.84 USD).
