XXL Nutrition finds room for another plant-based entry in the busy protein powder category

Xxl Nutrition Green Protein Powder

The giant European supplement company XXL Nutrition, which has far more formats than most brands out there and has immense distribution across the Netherlands, has found room in its catalog for another protein powder. Squeezing in and around all of its other competitors like Perfect Whey Protein, Whey Delicious, Protein Iced Coffee, Protein Milkshake, Egg Protein, and many more, is the unique Green Protein.

XXL Nutrition’s Green Protein isn’t just another plant-based protein product, which it already had covered by way of Vegan Protein and Clear Vegan Protein. The brand’s latest entry in the saturated category has been designed as a completely allergen-free supplement, while still being a quality protein powder. It brings together broad bean, rice, and chickpea for 21g of protein per serving, with this particular blend intended to provide a complete amino acid profile, unlike many other plant-powered protein products.

The rest of the nutrition profile, alongside XXL Nutrition’s 21g of protein, is 1.6g of carbohydrates, none of that sugar, practically zero fat at 300mg, and 96 calories. Despite it being a fresh new supplement, the brand has ensured fans have plenty of options to choose from in Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, and Banana flavors. There are also two sizes in a small 450g tub at €14.99 (17.50 USD) and a 1kg bag for €27.99 (32.68 USD).
