Beyond Meat makes a few changes to its five-month-old protein drink

Beyond Immerse Refreshed Protein Drink

When Beyond Meat stepped outside of its plant-based meat business at the start of the year, it did so with the surprisingly refreshing Beyond Immerse Protein Drink. The beverage relied on hydrolyzed pea protein and came in two strengths, one with 10g of protein and another with 20g, offering a light alternative to traditional ready-to-drink shakes. Beyond Meat later expanded the menu with several additional flavors, showing quick confidence in the innovation.

Beyond Meat has now given Beyond Immerse a noticeable refresh, led by a bright lime green visual identity that makes the product stand out much more than before. There have been some changes beyond the packaging, too, as the 10g protein option appears to have been discontinued or at least removed from the website, leaving only the 20g version. The beverage still centers around hydrolyzed pea protein and maintains its lean profile with 20g of protein, 7g of fiber, a light single gram of sugar, the powerhouse antioxidant vitamin C, and just 100 calories.

While the refreshed Beyond Immerse Protein Drink still comes in previously released flavors in Peach Mango, Cherry Berry, and Strawberry Lemonade, the brand is saying the product has a new taste, suggesting they might have been improved. You can head to beyondtestkitchen.com and try the updated clear protein drink, where the price has stayed pretty close to the original at just $1 per case at $35.99, with unfortunately no variety pack to try the lot in one go.
