What began as a simple fan-voted competition has grown into one of our enjoyable annual traditions, bringing together brands, collectors, enthusiasts, and everyday consumers from all corners of the category and world.

As has been the case in recent years, the Clash Of The Cans kicks off with an opening round designed to cast the widest net possible, featuring every eligible energy drink we can get on the list. Once voting goes live at clashofthecans.com on Monday of next week, fans will have one week to support their favorite, with the 24 most popular beverages from that lengthy list moving on and securing a spot in the bracket-style rounds that follow.

The opening stage is always one of the most unpredictable parts of the Dynamine-powered Clash Of The Cans, as it gives established giants and emerging challengers the same opportunity to earn a place in the field. Every vote matters, every drink has a chance, and by the end of the round, we’ll have our final 24 competitors locked in and ready to battle in three weeks of knockout rounds for this year’s iron-cast Clash Of The Cans trophy.
