Muscle Nation drops its biggest bar to date loaded with 50g of protein

Muscle Nation High Protein Bar 50g

Muscle Nation in Australia has launched its biggest protein bar to date, and we mean biggest in a couple of different ways. The apparel, supplement, and functional food company already has plenty of bar-format protein snacks on the market, far more than anyone else in its local market of Australia. There is the incredibly soft Custard Bar, the genuine Cheesecake Bar, Rice Krispie Treat style Crisp Bar, and the extra protein, High Protein Bar.

Now rolling out exclusively in Coles supermarkets across Australia is another Muscle Nation High Protein Bar, although it is not the same as the one that’s already available, with 30g of protein. The brand has introduced a heavier 97g version that packs 66% more protein at 50g per piece. The majority of that muscle-building macronutrient is from collagen, with whey isolate as the secondary source, then soy isolate via soy-based crisps.

That 50g of protein is alongside 3.6g of carbohydrates or 26.6g if you count its fiber, sorbitol, maltitol, and glycerol, 8.7g of fat, under 2g of sugar, and 385 calories. While 385 may seem like a lot, remember it has 50g of protein, and if you scale it down to a 38g bar, the balance is 20g of protein to only 154 calories. Again, the protein-packed innovation is at Coles in Chocolate Caramel and Chocolate Banana flavors at $3.90 (2.76 USD) each.
