In a little more than one month, the Dutch powerhouse XXL Nutrition is opening its first-ever gym, and it is going to be a big one. There are very few supplement companies out there that have gone the extra mile, beyond online sales and in-store presence, to their own actual gym. Nutrend is one, the hardcore legend Animal is another, Redcon1, and very shortly, XXL with a massive 1,800m2, which is almost 20,000 square feet.
The XXL Nutrition Gym, or XXL Gym, will have all of your fitness needs covered with plate-loaded machines, cardio equipment, a HYROX area, dumbbells, and everything in between. There is also a shop with all of the brand’s products to power you through your workout and needs outside of the gym. Some of that is actually thrown in depending on which of the facility’s two memberships you grab, Comfort or Premium.
The cost to join the high-end XXL Gym in downtown Helmond is €40 (45.66 USD) if you sign up for a year for Comfort to train twice a week, or €50 if you go month-to-month. The Premium plan is €65 (74.20 USD) and €75, and that comes with unlimited workouts, HYROX classes, and either way you go, Comfort or Premium, you get free protein shakes and water. You can find out more at xxlgym.nl and get ready for its August opening.
