Dragon Energy upgrades its smooth Espresso-style Coffee Energy Drink

Espresso Dragon Energy Drink

Dragon has experimented with coffee-inspired beverages before, releasing the Coffee Series of Espresso, Salted Caramel, and Mega Mocha, although the collection quietly disappeared from its website over the last few years. It turns out the South African brand wasn’t done with the concept after all, as it has just upgraded the regular Espresso Dragon Energy Drink, very obviously making some cosmetic changes, as you can see in the image above.

The new Espresso appears to be a successor to Dragon’s previous coffee family rather than a straight return, as the brand itself refers to it as an upgrade. There is no sign of Salted Caramel and Mega Mocha, just Espresso or Luxury Blend Espresso, a name that suggests there are some taste tweaks. It’s a great path for Dragon Energy to go down, as we’ve seen with other companies in the category, and it’s out now in its home country of South Africa.
