Grenade turns its Creme Egg Protein Bar into an ongoing series in three decadent new flavors

Grenade Soft Core Protein Bar Series

Grenade’s Soft Core Protein Bar turned out to be more than just a clever one-off when it launched in an impressively authentic Cadbury Creme Egg flavor. The lighter-format protein snack immediately stood apart from the brand’s traditional bars with its fluffy dough, flowing soft center, and indulgent dessert-like experience. It clearly struck a chord with consumers, and that success has now opened the door to something much bigger.

Rather than keeping Soft Core tied to its Cadbury collaboration, Grenade has made it a permanent product and given it three all-new flavors in Double Chocolate, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and Golden Caramel. They continue the same signature build of a soft-flavored dough wrapped around a rich center, with milk chocolate coating the chocolate varieties and white chocolate surrounding the caramel option for a slightly sweeter finish.

The nutrition is largely in line with Grenade’s original Creme Egg Soft Core Protein Bar, with a 50g piece packing 15g of protein, under 2g of sugar, and calories ranging from 178 to 189 depending on which of the three decadent flavors you grab. The brand has all three available listed in its online store, where they’re up for pre-order ahead of shipping at the end of the month, and the price is worth it at £22 (29.45 USD) for a box of 12.
