Mountain Joe’s expanded its entirely functional food family earlier this year with Mega Flapjack, a substantially larger version of its original Protein Flapjack. Rather than chasing higher protein, the innovation leans into being a hearty, ready-to-eat snack. The much bigger innovation centers on sustained energy from a hefty hit of carbohydrates, making it ideal for anyone needing a bigger hit of the macronutrient before or after training, or throughout the day.
The Mega Flapjack from Mountain Joe’s packs 15g of protein alongside a sizeable 45 to 47g of carbohydrates from oats, 24g of fat, and around 450 calories, making it more of a complete meal-style snack than a protein bar. Four months after its debut in Chocolate Chip Cookie, Cookies & Cream, Cherry Bakewell, and Chocolate Peanut Butter, the brand has doubled the menu. Now available directly from Mountain Joe’s website are White Chocolate Caramel, Banoffee Pie, Chocolate Caramel, and Raspberry White Chocolate at £19.99 (26.80 USD) for a box of 12.
