A more indulgent alternative arrived last year in Sweets Protein, a more gourmet, flavor-first protein powder that infuses the standard straightforward shake experience for a richer dessert-style taste, and some delicious inclusions.
Sweets Protein debuted in the one lone Cafe Mocha flavor, and has now finally been given a second option by Mariness in Caramel. As per the name, it pairs a smooth and decadent caramel base with delicious crumbly cookie pieces for that flavor-heavy experience. The recipe remains below 100 calories at 99 with a moderate 13g of protein, and fans can now find the new flavor of Sweets Protein exclusively at Don Quijote in Japan, at ¥4,298 for a 600g bag.
