FroPro has two ways to get a protein-packed pizza, with its longer, rectangular variety or the traditional round product, both previously coming in two flavors each. The original options for the latter are BBQ Meatlovers and Pepperoni & Ham, both using the Australian innovator’s base made with faba bean protein to reduce the carbohydrates and pump up the protein. There is now a third taste to choose from in Australia for the round FroPro Protein Pizza.
The latest FroPro innovation is a Chicken & Bacon Protein Pizza made with Australian chicken, wood-smoked bacon, red onion, tomato sauce, and reduced-fat mozzarella, spread across that high-protein base. In an entire pizza, you get a mass gainer like 50g of protein, 60g of carbohydrates, 16g of fat, and 660 calories. Unlike some FroPro items, Chicken & Bacon is not exclusive to anyone and is available at Coles and Woolworths at $12.95 (9.21 USD).
