Japanese protein ice cream innovator Pocotein is launching a Mango flavor on Wednesday

Pocotein Mango Ice Cream

Pocotein is one of the more creative functional food companies out of Japan, specializing in better-for-you protein ice cream instead of the usual bars, cookies, and shakes. Every 120ml cup is made using high-quality grass-fed whey isolate with allulose for a rich, creamy dessert delivering 10g of protein, 3g of fat, and as few as 100 calories. Its menu has traditionally leaned into classic flavors, including the likes of Vanilla and Chocolate, officially named Cocoa.

The growing Japanese innovator is now stepping outside those richer dessert profiles with its first-ever fruit flavor in Mango. The sweet and smooth extension keeps the same nutrition fans have come to expect, packing 10g of protein, 3g of fat, and 108 calories per cup, while offering a lighter, tropical alternative to the existing options. Mango launches in a couple of days on the 5th of August, and initially, it will only be available to subscribers of its website.
