ED’s four-month-old sports drink proves successful and gets another flavor to choose from

Tropical Ed Hydrated Drink

ED has been one of Finland’s leading energy drink brands for years, although at the beginning of this year it stepped outside that lane with an all-new competitor called ED Hydrated. Rather than another traditional energy drink, the product centers around electrolytes, including sodium and magnesium, for hydration and performance. It also has some B vitamins, and to stay true to its original product, Hydrated also has a solid 160mg of caffeine.

It looks like ED Hydrated has done well over the last several months, enough to earn its first expansion, as the Finnish brand has officially introduced the second flavor for the caffeinated sports drink, with Tropical joining the original Blue Raspberry. There isn’t any official taste description, although that sort of name typically points to a mix of things like pineapple, mango, and passionfruit. Fans, however, can find out for themselves starting this month, as the Tropical ED Hydrated is already rolling out to retailers across Finland.
