4+ Nutrition unveil their two Hydro+ flavors, going the extra mile for the traditional amaretto

Just over 12 hours ago news came in from our favorite Italian company 4+ Nutrition, about the coming of two new flavors in celebration of Halloween. The duo were confirmed as additions to the brand’s hydrolyzed protein powder Hydro+, almost doubling the supplement’s current menu of three, chocolate, vanilla and cappuccino. 4+ have now unveiled the tastes they hinted at with a collection of nuts and cookies, naming almond milk and a flavor we have never actually seen attempted, amaretto. If the name of that second taste doesn’t ring any bells, you’re not alone. In classic 4+ style the brand have put together a local favorite, much like they did with Egg+ and zabaione. Traditionally amaretto is a almond flavored liqueur, created with an apricot pit and/or almond base. Being that we’re not too familiar with the way things are done in Italy. We are thinking that yesterday’s hint of a cookie means that Hydro+ will be getting a amaretto biscuit type taste, not the commonly referred to liqueur. What ever the recipe may be, you can’t help but appreciate the effort 4+ have put in to produce essentially two very unique tastes, with amaretto showing how far the brand will go for their hometown fans.
