Layne Norton’s Carbon Recover packing 8g of 2:1:1 BCAAs

As well as revealing a whole lot of information about his new pre-workout Carbon Prep. Layne Norton has also dropped a few details on his upcoming recovery supplement Carbon Recover. Unlike the amount of information available for Prep, we don’t have that big of a list of features for Carbon Recover. In total we only know of four ingredients for the product compared to Prep’s nine, however that may just be due to the fact that Recover doesn’t have as much in it.

It is worth pointing out that while Carbon Recover is a recovery formula as its title explains, it’s not a dedicated post-workout supplement. The man himself has made it clear that Recover can be used any time of day much like all the great tasting amino cocktails on the market. As for the confirmed features in Layne Norton’s recovery formula you have a massive 8g of BCAAs at the traditional 2:1:1 ratio, as well as an unknown dose of tart cherry. The remaining two ingredients are actually both from the pre-workout with Carbon Recover giving you an extra 3g of citrulline malate and another gram of carnitine l-tartrate.

As mentioned the four features listed are all we know of at the moment, meaning there is the possibility that there is more to Carbon Recover. Fortunately everything you need to know about the product will be revealed very soon, as Recover is said to be launching alongside Prep at Bodybuilding.com as early as the end of this week.

Update 09/30: Layne Norton’s Carbon Recover has now gone on sale revealing its official facts panel (below) which doesn’t actually bring too many surprises. The only additional pieces of information is the amount of servings in the supplement and its dose of CherryPURE tart cherry at 480mg.
