App Nut introduces Ooh Snap, its upcoming crispy protein bar

From Stack3d
App Nut Ooh Snap

Over the past few months we’ve seen a small rise in supplement companies entering the protein market for the first time, with various protein powders. What we haven’t seen a lot of is brands getting into the business of protein with bars. Surprisingly that is exactly what Applied Nutriceuticals is looking to do this year as details of its all new crispy protein bar Ooh Snap, have now been released.

Starting with its macros, making up each 44g App Nut Ooh Snap bar is 15g of protein from a blend of soy isolate, milk and whey concentrate, whey isolate and egg albumin. You then have 18g of carbohydrates (10g fiber, 3g sugar), 7g of fat (5g saturated), and a total of 160 calories. Those numbers are all from the only Ooh Snap flavor we can confirm at the moment, which is the delicious sounding Vanilla Marshmallow.

As a bit of a teaser for what the Ooh Snap bar tastes like, the brand describes it as having a “rich delicious coating” with the crispy side of it being tucked into the middle. The next question is of course when will App Nut’s first protein effort be available? Unfortunately that is something we don’t know, with the product only said to be coming soon at the moment.
