Myprotein surprisingly drops two limited edition, Olympic themed flavors

pina colada impact whey protein

Myprotein has just revealed and released the supplement it mysteriously teased last week, which we suspected to be some kind of limited edition flavor. The product was also pictured in blue, green, and yellow themed packaging, suggesting it was inspired by the upcoming Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil. While it does appear that we were correct with the color inspiration, the European brand has actually surprised us as it has in fact launched two limited edition items.

The first of the two is exactly what we suspected from Myprotein, with another flavor for its flagship protein powder, Impact Whey. The new addition to the product is Pina Colada, which has only been produced in one of the protein’s many sizes, a 40 serving 1kg bag. The second special edition flavor is for the brand’s all-new electrolyte formula ElectroFuel. Basically the supplement has been released in three flavors, Lemon & Lime, Summer Fruits, and the alternatively colored one of the three, Brazilian Gauva.

Both of the blue, green, and yellow themed products can now be purchased direct from Myprotein’s official website. The Brazilian Gauva ElectroFuel won’t cost you any more than the supplement’s other two tastes, however the Pina Colada Impact Whey is a little more expensive than usual at £15.79. The brand has also added a couple of other similarly colored, limited edition accessories to its store, with a men’s and women’s Defeat The Heat tee, and a yellow and green shaker.
