Kai Greene up for 7 in Generation Iron’s first ever Bodybuilding Awards

generation iron

The team over at Generation Iron has put together something special for the end of 2016, with its first ever Generation Iron Bodybuilding Awards. Basically the company has come up with 12 bodybuilding and fitness athlete categories, which its panel of judges has created lists of nominees for. The amount of nominees in each category varies, going from as little as 4 to as many as 11.

Some examples of the categories put together for Generation Iron’s Bodybuilding Awards are Best Male and Female Athletes Of 2016, Best Legs, Best Chest, Guru Of The Year, and Personality Of The Year. There are a whole bunch bodybuilding and fitness celebrities nominated with the likes of Mr. Olympia Phil Heath, 5% Nutrition’s Rich Piana, and Redcon1’s up and comer Dallas McCarver. The person nominated for the most Bodybuilding Awards appears to be the Predator, Kai Greene, who is up for Best Arms, Chest, Legs, and Back, Best Male Athlete, Best Posting Routine, and Personality Of The Year.

Voting has already started over at generationiron.com, and is going to be open right through until the end of the month on December 31st. The winners will be announced just over a week after it all ends on Monday the 9th of January. On Generation Iron’s voting page you can also find short explanations for why each of the athletes in the Bodybuilding Awards was nominated.
