Plant-based Vega launches its on-the-go Protein Crisps in two flavors

The plant-based supplement company, Vega, has launched a new protein snack this week that’s different from the more traditional protein bar. The item is Vega Protein Crisps, a bag of crunchy baked chips, that provide a good amount of protein, low sugar, and a reasonable calorie count.

Each bag of the new Vega Protein Crisps packs 15g of protein from the plant-based sources brown rice and pea protein. On top of the protein, you also get 19g of carbohydrates with a gram of that fiber and only 2g sugar, 9g of fat (1g saturated), and a total of 200 calories.

The latest product from Vega comes in two different flavor options; both said to provide a serious crunch and don’t use any artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. The tastes available for Vega Protein Crisps are Sweet Chilli and Garlic & Herb.

Vega Protein Crisps are already in stock and ready to purchase from Vega’s online store as well as Amazon. The latter currently has the better price on the protein snack at $28.49 for a case of 12, although through Vega’s site you can get the Protein Crisps individually for $2.50 per bag.
