Supplement documentary Supps will be followed by Supps: The Series

Alex Ardenti, the man behind the upcoming supplement industry documentary, Supps: The Movie, has shared some updates on his exciting project. Shooting for the film begun late last year and is still currently underway, although it appears that’s not the only Supps project Ardenti is now working on.

It turns out Supps: The Movie has, in fact, evolved into more than just a movie. Alex Adrenti has said “A few weeks into shooting Supps: The Movie I realized that our industry had too many great stories to condense into a regular 90-minute documentary. There is simply too much history to tell!”

What Alex Ardenti plans to do is release Supps: The movie and follow it up with a series of episodes called Supps: The Series. The movie will be a candid look at the world of supplements, while the series will dive into more specific topics relating to the supplement industry.

“Supps: The Series was created to fill the need for quality content regarding the sports supplement industry specifically.” says Alex Ardenti. “We dive into this niche head first, we go deep and we don’t stray from our section of the market.”

Alex Ardenti is currently working on both Supps: The Movie and Supps: The Series, with the movie due to launch sometime in the second half of this year. The series will be released shortly after in the first quarter of 2019 and will be available to stream on Hulu, Netflix, iTunes, Amazon Prime, and Google Play.
