The Dough Bar introduces its soft and cakey Cake Doughnut

The Dough Bar was already one of our favorite functional food companies, with its doughnuts being one of the most creative and enjoyable protein snacks on the market. It now appears that the Dough Bar has put together yet another reason to be a loyal fan.

Announced today and due to be available this coming Monday are The Dough Bar’s Cake Doughnut. The product is very similar to the brand’s original protein doughnuts with the major difference being that their texture isn’t the same. The Dough Bar describes it as more soft and cakey, hence the name.

The Dough Bar’s Cake Doughnut is gluten and soy-free, can be eaten straight out of the box, and packs 12g of protein per doughnut. The rest of the nutrition profile in just the doughnut by itself is 20g of carbohydrates with 11g of that sugar, 7g of fat, and a total of 190 calories.

As mentioned, The Dough Bar’s Cake Doughnut will be available through its website starting on Monday of next week. The brand is only going to have a limited amount for fans to order with four different flavors to choose from including options with chocolate chips and rainbow sprinkles.
