The no B.S. brand RXBar has announced a voluntary recall for a variety of flavors of its high protein bar due to the potential of containing undeclared peanuts. Last month the brand itself identified the potential for peanut in its Chocolate Sea Salt and Coconut Chocolate flavors, and initiated a recall.
“Our investigation concluded that the issue stems from a specific ingredient supplied by a third party. We immediately changed suppliers for this ingredient when the issue arose.”
RXBar is now expanding its recall after receiving contact about allergic reactions to other variants of the protein bar including more RXBar flavors as well as RXBar Kids flavors. The brand has put together a page on its website outlining how consumers can tell if their product is affected.
