Back in 2018, Applied Nutrition introduced one of the more interesting protein snacks at the time with the unique and delicious Protein Indulgence. It is far from your typical protein bar, more of a protein-packed cake or slice of some sort, with crunchy, crispy, smooth, sweet, and tasty layers all rolled into the one product.
Over the years since it hit the market, Applied Nutrition has expanded Protein Indulgence by introducing several new flavors, including some vegan-friendly options. This week the brand has announced another development around the protein snack, although this time it is not a new flavor experience, but an improvement.
Applied Nutrition has been hard at work and put together an improved Protein Indulgence that takes the enjoyable original and makes it even better. The revamped product has a softer base and thinner overall size, with the former certainly being an area we felt could be better, and in addition to that, the UK brand has squeezed in even more flavor.
Applied Nutrition has essentially made Protein Indulgence easier to eat in regards to its consistency and size, but not without sacrificing any flavor, in fact, it’s strengthened the flavor. The improved recipe is rolling out in the product’s White Chocolate Salted Caramel flavor to start, with its many other flavors to follow.
