Granite considering getting into the increasingly competitive plant-protein category

From Stack3d
granite considering getting into plant protein

The plant-based protein powder category has seen a lot of big-name brands get into it over the past year or so, with a handful of those newcomers bringing some great tasting competitors. John Meadows’ brand Granite Supplements is now looking like it wants to join the growing category with its own vegan-friendly protein powder.

It was only at the end of last year that Granite Supplements finally got into the protein game with a formula featuring a blend of whey isolate and concentrate, beef, egg, and casein. This month, John Meadows has mentioned he’s considering coming out with a plant protein under his brand Granite after trying some chocolate and blueberry-flavored samples.

At this point, it’s not guaranteed that John Meadows and Granite Supplements are doing a vegan protein, but the fact that they’ve sampled some flavors and are mentioning it, does make it seem likely. If the brand ends up coming out with one, it apparently won’t be until after a peanut butter-themed flavor is added to its current protein powder.
